We’re back with some incredible updates to share 💗

If you noticed things were a little quieter around here lately, you’re not wrong. We’ve been taking some time behind the scenes to get things right. We’ve been obsessing over our products, designing packaging, building out the brand, and generally spending an unreasonable amount of time talking about very specific shades of pink and navy.

And now we finally have so much to share.

First, we had our very first LYM photo shoot. 📸

This was a big one for us.

For months, we’ve had this whole world in our heads. This world where girlhood is celebrated and where taking care of yourself feels special because you’re already worth caring for. We knew what we wanted LYM to feel like before we knew exactly what it would look like.

And then we got the photos back and for the first time, we could actually see it.

The girls. The products. The friendship bracelets. Pool days. Laughter. All of these little pieces of the brand we’ve been imagining suddenly existed outside of our heads. And it was one of those moments where we looked at each other and thought, wait…we’re actually doing this.

If you follow us on social, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve started sharing some of the photos. We’ve actually mapped out our Instagram grid to start bringing the LYM world to life, so what you’re seeing now is just the beginning. We hope you’ll follow along and give us a like, share a post, and tell us what you think! 

The Essentials Kit is officially… essential ✨

We also finalized the three products in our very first LYM Essentials Kit:

Gentle Oat Milk Cleanser
Hydrating Toner Mist
Lightweight Balancing Moisturizer

That’s it. Three steps. No complicated formulas, no complicated routines. 

From the very beginning, we’ve been focused on developing skincare for girls that feels fun and special and completely their own, without ever giving them the message that there is something about their skin, or themselves, that needs fixing.

And then there’s the packaging 💌

I’m not sure we fully appreciated how many decisions could possibly go into one little box until we started a skincare company.

The pink. The navy. The bottles. The lettering. The finish. The tissue. The mailer. The tiny details no one else may ever notice but that we now have very strong opinions about.

But it’s coming together, and we love it.

Our custom product packaging is finalized, our mailer is designed, and we keep coming back to the same thought: opening your first LYM box should feel like getting a care package from someone who loves you.

Because that’s really where all of this started.

Oh, and we gave our website a glow-up. 

We’ve also been working on our website. New photos, more of our story, and more of the feeling behind why we started LYM in the first place.
